Refreshingly Warm-SIPPITY Chocolate Marshmallow Hot Cocoa

Posted by Southwest Beverages on 3/6/2016
To celebrate our eighteenth wedding anniversary, yesterday my wonderful and romantic husband, Logan, surprised me with a late afternoon cruise of Hyannis Harbor and dinner at Alberto’s Ristorante on Main Street. We had lived in Lowell, Massachusetts, a quiet suburban town about twenty miles north of Boston, our entire lives and never went on the water cruise of Hyannis Harbor. Friends of ours who have taken the cruise have raved about it so when Logan told me of his plans I was very excited.

The seventy-five mile drive down to Hyannis was most enjoyable given the fact that we were enjoying a rare early March day where the temperature was in the high sixties. Shortly after 3:30 PM we parked our car on Ocean Street and walked the short distance to the Hi Lines dock where our cruise was scheduled to depart at 4 PM.

Within ten minutes of our departure the winds on the open sea had made it quite chilly and raw. “I’ll be back in a minute,” Logan stated, then turned and walked away from out top deck viewing position. Ten minutes later he returned with two blankets and two sixteen ounce containers of Sippity chocolate marshmallow hot cocoa.

“How sweet,” I said, as Logan handed me a container of marshmallow hot cocoa and a blanket. “Now we can sit back and enjoy cruise and all the beautiful lighthouses and mansions that line the bay.

Two hours later we were back on land. “What a beautiful cruise, Amy,” Logan said. “I’m glad we did this. It gave me a different prospective of the geography of Hyannis seeing it from the water.”

“It was an absolutely delightful cruise. The fact that you got the marshmallow hot cocoa made me nice and warm so that I could enjoy the cruise. I really loved seeing the Kennedy compound. Perhaps we can drive there tomorrow.”
