“Claudia, how come everything you seem to do you do so
effortlessly?” I asked my neighbor while I was sitting in her Kitchen ten
minutes after we put our kids on the school bus.
“What do you mean?” I replied. “If you would have come here
an hour ago you would have seen a different me. I had to chase the boys to get
dressed, make their lunches, make their beds and put a tub of wash in.”
“Yeah, but look at you now, all composed, nicely dressed, a
clean house and waiting for our coffee to be ready.”
“It’s all a matter of getting organized, Cindy,” I replied
as I took the two mugs of hot water from the microwave and placed them on the
counter in front of Cindy. Take for example this coffee, by the way, what flavor

“Here’s to the new me,” Cindy stated as she raised her mug
