“Wow! Sharon, you look great,” my friend, Lauren, stated to
me when she saw me today, the first day of our senior year in high school. “You
lost so much weight,” she added.
“Hi Lauren, and thank you for your kind words. I actually
lost 28 pounds over the summer by working out, watching what I was eating and
