Recipes That Use Hot Cocoa Mix-SIPPITY LITE Chocolate Flavored Fruit Bowl

My husband of forty years absolutely loves chocolate. Statistics reveal that, while the average American adult will deny it, they consume chocolate based foods at the rate equivalent to six chocolate bars per week. On some days I think my husband consumes six chocolate bars a day! Well reality has finally caught up with Eddie-the doctor has told him to go a strict diet and begin to work out.

Over the past two weeks I have watched my husband make a serious effort to follow the doctor’s instructions. He now goes to the guy every morning to work out, he walks upstairs rather than taking the elevator and he is watching what he eats (smaller portions and healthier choices). While he still consumes chocolate, he has significantly reduced the quantity he eats. To support his healthier life style change I thought I would surprise him this morning when he came home from the gym with one of my recipes from my collection of receipts that use hot cocoa mix-Sippity chocolate flavored fruit bowl.

Ingredients

1-1.97 ounce single serve envelope of Sippity Chocolate flavored hot cocoa mix

1 Banana

6 Strawberries

15 Raspberries

Preparation

·     Add sliced banana to bowl.

·         Add sliced strawberries to bowl.

·         Add raspberries to bowl.

·         Mix fruit in bowl.

·         Sprinkle 1/3 envelope of Sippity chocolate flavored hot cocoa mix onto fruit.

·         Appetizing & healthy!
