“Why did you get such an early tee time?” my buddy Troy
asked referring to our 7 AM start time at the Oakdale Golf Course.
“It was either 7 AM or 2:30 PM”, I answered after I had
taken a sip of coffee from the container of Kemosabe french vanilla coffee I
was holding.
“That’s what I need this morning,” Troy stated, looking at
the container of coffee I was holding. “I sure miss my morning coffee,” he
added. “Ever since the doctor told me I had a gluten tolerance condition, well,
my choices of coffee have been few and far between, let along tasting good.”
“Here Troy,” I stated as I went to my golf bag and pulled
out a single serve packet of Kemosabe french vanilla coffee. “It’s 100 % gluten
free coffee,” I added handing him the packet.
Five minutes later Troy emerged from the club house with a
big smile on his face holding a container of Kemosabe french vanilla gluten
free coffee. “I guess I can stay the course,” he stated as he approached. “Not
only is this coffee gluten free, it’s absolutely delicious,” he added. “Where
did you ever find it?”
“My secretary, excuse me, executive assistant, as she likes
to be called, introduced me to Kemosabe coffee about a month ago. If you think
the french vanilla is good, wait till you try the crème butterscotch. Troy, I’m
telling you you’ll never go back to your old brand of coffee ever again. It’s
that good. And Kemosabe coffee also comes in other flavors-mocha, chocolate
cinnamon, chocolate hazelnut and chocolate irish cream.”
“Chocolate irish cream?”
“Yeah Troy, chocolate irish cream. Add some Baileys to it
and you have yourself a great after dinner drink. Well enough of the chit chat,
we better get a move on or we’ll miss our 7 AM tee time.”
“You mean coffee time,” Troy jokingly added as he slapped me
on the back while we were walking away.
